Description

You will design, maintain, and troubleshoot large-scale data deployments and ETL processes within Cloudera CDH environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain large-scale data deployments and ETL pipelines using Cloudera CDH.
• Translate technical requirements into functional solution designs and develop Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within data deployments and system operations.
• Support customer-facing requirements including system debugging, testing, and status reporting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent education.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera CDH products: Hive, HDFS, Spark, Impala, and Sentry.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Talend.
• Experience integrating BI tools like Tableau, Cognos, or SAS with Cloudera CDH.
• Basic software programming, system testing, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for customer-facing roles.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.
