Description

Design and maintain large-scale data solutions using Cloudera CDH platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into functional solution designs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within large-scale deployments.
• Develop, test, and implement Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
• Report project status and technical updates to internal teams and customers.
• Support customers directly to resolve platform-related issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera CDH products including Hive, HDFS, Spark, Impala, and Sentry.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as Talend.
• Experience integrating BI tools including Tableau, Cognos, and SAS with Cloudera CDH.
• Basic software programming, system testing, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
