Description

You will own the infrastructure and deployment lifecycle for SAP HANA Cloud environments, focusing on automation, security, and reliability across AWS and SAP Converged Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD to automate application delivery.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to provision cloud resources on AWS and OpenStack.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts within Gardener or similar platforms.
• Manage logging and monitoring stacks using Splunk, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Dynatrace, or CloudWatch to ensure system observability.
• Enforce security best practices, including hardened container images (STIG), secrets management via Hashicorp Vault, and secure networking configurations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of technical professional experience in platform or DevOps engineering.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of hyperscalers, specifically AWS (VPCs, CloudWatch).
• Proficiency with deployment automation tools such as Ansible and Chef.
• Experience with container orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and Python.
• Strong understanding of Linux/RHEL operating systems.
• Database knowledge of SAP HANA.
• Experience with repository management (JFrog/Artifactory) and service discovery (Consul/Zookeeper).

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in SAP Converged Cloud (OpenStack).
• Experience with SAP solution portfolio and enterprise security standards.
