Description

You will own performance-related aspects of software development for SAP HANA Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Perform explorative performance and root cause analysis.
• Analyze and optimize scenarios for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support infrastructure decisions by analyzing landscape configuration performance.
• Build and extend performance test frameworks and analysis tools.
• Create performance regression tests and benchmarks for developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years implementing and analyzing performance-critical software.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Ability to analyze and debug complex problems.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Working proficiency in verbal and written English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with profiling techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with relational database management systems, Docker, K8S, and Python.
