Description

You will own the end-to-end hardware development lifecycle for automotive and locomotive electronic modules.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and generate PCB layouts using industry-standard tools.
• Manage component selection, BOM generation, and procurement processes.
• Execute system-level testing and validation using HITL and SITL platforms.
• Review PCB layout guidelines to ensure design integrity.
• Validate ECU, ECM, BCM, and BMS modules within automotive and locomotive domains.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of embedded hardware design and development experience.
• Proficiency with Altium or Mentor for schematic and PCB design.
• Experience with HITL and SITL testing environments.
• Deep understanding of component selection and BOM management.
• Working knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, and Serial RS232/422 communication protocols.
• Experience using simulation tools such as LTspice and PSpice.
• Familiarity with automotive or locomotive hardware lifecycles.
• Hands-on experience with ECU, ECM, BCM, and BMS modules.

Preferred Skills

• System-level testing experience specifically in locomotive or automotive domains.
