Description

You will own the hardware design process from initial requirements through to final release.

Responsibilities

• Manage schematic design from requirements gathering to final release.
• Drive technical discussions with external vendors regarding component selection and design reviews.
• Perform BOM checks, optimization, and cost analysis through alternate component identification.
• Debug and triage platform issues, providing hardware consultation to cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in board and system design.
• Hands-on experience with schematic entry using ORCAD or similar EDA tools.
• Experience performing layout reviews and component placement.
• Proficiency with circuit simulation tools such as LT-Spice or PSPICE.
• Hands-on experience in board bring-up and hardware debugging.
• Experience debugging embedded systems using JTAGs and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to perform BOM scrubbing and select cost-effective alternative components.
