Description

You will own the design, validation, and support of deployed hardware systems, with a focus on automotive applications. You will lead root cause analysis for hardware failures and implement design enhancements to improve efficiency, scalability, and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct high-speed design validation and circuit debugging to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams to ensure seamless product integration.
• Analyze and resolve hardware issues using analytical techniques to identify root causes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences through written and verbal channels.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in hardware design and development, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design principles.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD.
• Hands-on experience with networking and communication protocols: Ethernet, PCIe, MIPI, GMSL.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
• Proven ability to debug high-speed designs and resolve complex hardware failures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design enhancements that improve manufacturability and scalability.
