You will lead the development of high-availability, safety-critical electronic systems for industrial automation.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and validation of complex, mixed-signal electronic hardware systems.
Perform Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to ensure fault-tolerant designs.
Implement redundancy, fail-safe mechanisms, fault detection, and diagnostic features.
Define safety requirements, hardware analysis, and risk assessments in accordance with industry standards.
Collaborate with certification bodies to demonstrate compliance with functional safety standards.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or a related STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 7+ years of experience.
Deep knowledge of Functional Safety standards, specifically IEC 61508.
Experience in safety-critical electronic system design, including redundancy and fault mitigation.
Proficiency in hardware safety analysis methods (FMEDA, FTA).
Hands-on experience with EMC, thermal, and environmental testing.
Expertise in PCB design tools and simulation tools.
Experience working with certification agencies and regulatory bodies.
Strong background in Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, and Microprocessors.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and conduct design reviews.
