Description

Lead the design, development, and validation of safety-critical electronic systems for industrial automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and validation of complex, mixed-signal hardware systems.
• Perform FMEDA and FTA to ensure fault-tolerant designs.
• Implement redundancy, fail-safe mechanisms, and diagnostic features.
• Define safety requirements and risk assessments per industry standards.
• Collaborate with certification bodies to demonstrate functional safety compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of Functional Safety standards, specifically IEC 61508.
• Experience in safety-critical electronic system design, including redundancy and fault mitigation.
• Proficiency in hardware safety analysis methods (FMEDA, FTA).
• Hands-on experience with EMC, thermal, and environmental testing.
• Expertise in PCB design tools and simulation tools.
• Strong background in Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, and Microprocessors.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and conduct design reviews.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with certification agencies and regulatory bodies.
