Description

Lead the design, maintenance, and implementation of HVDC Control and Protection System Cabinets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of standard cabinet designs, interconnection diagrams, and associated documentation.
• Manage product release plans and ensure all BoMs, circuit diagrams, and test specifications are project-ready.
• Drive standardization to improve manufacturing efficiency and site installation.
• Maintain compliance with IEC standards and update designs to address component obsolescence.
• Support project engineers in defining control system requirements and optimize control room layouts and cable routing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware design or complex system engineering.
• Proficiency in Ebase and Creo Parametric.
• Experience with IM2 document management systems.
• Strong understanding of modular and configurable eLumina cabinet hardware design.
• Experience designing industrial control systems with a focus on quality and cost-efficiency.
• Knowledge of industrial communication networks including IEC61850 and Ethernet-based protocols.
• Understanding of EMC and related design considerations.
• Competency in Digital Control Systems, Substation Automation, and Cybersecurity.

Preferred Skills

• Proven technical leadership in complex system engineering projects.
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration and technical decision-making.
