Description

You will design and develop hardware for downhole tools in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Design SMT and through-hole PCBs for downhole tool applications.
• Develop analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Write firmware in C and assembler for embedded targets.
• Apply electrical engineering standards to hardware and firmware design.
• Ensure designs adhere to ROHS compliance and high-temperature solder techniques.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware and PCB design.
• Proficiency in C and assembler for embedded systems.
• Experience with analogue, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Working knowledge of at least one high-level programming language.
• Competency in CAD and relevant computer software packages.
• Understanding of ROHS compliance and high-temperature soldering.
• Ability to work within a team environment using established engineering practices.
• Graduate degree in a relevant field.
