Responsibilities of hardware engineer: 

Schematic Design – 
Support the creation of printed circuit boards by creating logical drawings of interconnected electronic components by: Select components 
Planning and implementation of analog and digital circuits 
Creation of component entries and assist in curation of the ECAD library (device symbols, footprints, models, and attributes) 
Conducting analysis, simulation, and calculations of electronic and electrical circuits
