Description

Design, verify, and document electronic hardware components for integrated product systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create schematic designs by selecting components and implementing analog and digital circuits.
• Develop PCB layouts optimizing component placement for EMC/EMI, signal integrity, and thermal management.
• Execute hardware verification through parametric, functional, environmental, and EMC/EMI testing.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulations to ensure design compliance with functional requirements.
• Manage technical documentation, including schematics, fabrication packages, and BOMs within PLM systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware engineering.
• Proficiency in schematic design and PCB layout using ECAD tools.
• Experience with circuit analysis, simulation, and calculations using SPICE.
• Knowledge of component footprints, land patterns, and ECAD library curation.
• Ability to design for power integrity, signal integrity, and thermal management.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW for testing and automation.
• Programming skills in C, C#, and Python.
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD.
• Experience managing BOM packages and technical documentation in PLM systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMC/EMI testing protocols.
