Description

You will manage all aspects of PCB design for complex circuit boards used in prototypes and high-volume products.

Responsibilities

• Manage PCB design cycles, including stack-up determination, design constraints, component placement, signal routing, and DFM.
• Create OrCAD schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and 3D component models in Allegro while maintaining ECAD library databases.
• Support the layout of multi-layer HDI circuit boards involving mixed signal, high-speed, and RF designs.
• Prepare fabrication and assembly deliverables, including Gerber files, drill charts, and PCB assembly BOMs.
• Collaborate with local and international fabrication vendors and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM concerns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience using Cadence OrCAD and Allegro for PCB design.
• Expertise in PCB design, stack-up, and materials.
• Experience with analog, high-speed digital, mixed-signal, and RF design.
• Knowledge of thermal mitigation, impedance control, EMC, grounding, and PCB reliability.
• Proficiency with HDI, flex, and Rigid-Flex board design and manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of IPC standards and practices.
• Proven track record managing PCB design for high-volume products.
• Experience managing BOMs and signal design.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mSAP technologies.
• Experience with PCB design involving embedded components.
• Experience with assembly for SiP technologies.
