Description

You will build, maintain, and commission hardware test platforms in the lab.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble test platforms, including fixture construction, wiring, and cooling systems.
• Design and assemble wire harnesses using crimping and connector selection.
• Diagnose, capture, and escalate hardware and software issues during commissioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate on the creation of hardware enablement tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hardware or electronics environments.
• Foundational knowledge of electronics principles.
• Electrical wiring and hardware technician competencies.
• Entry-level wire harness skills, including crimping, connector types, and wire gauge selection.
• Exposure to Linux and shell environments.
• Ability to learn new technical processes quickly.

Preferred Skills

• Automotive trade school training or equivalent experience.
• Experience with automotive or electronics diagnostics.
• Basic fabrication skills, including metal/wood cutting and power tool usage.
