Description

You will develop and manage validation plans for vehicle hardware subsystems, specifically Closures, Structures, and Chassis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage validation plans, establishing testing criteria including sample size and statistical analysis.
• Update validation plans to incorporate new requirements or design controls from DFMEA reviews.
• Collaborate with external vendors to quote, source, and schedule testing while managing program budgets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing by working closely with development engineers.
• Create CAD designs for validation-specific tools, such as fixtures and applicators, and manage test reports for compliance.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1-5 years of experience designing and testing mechanical systems for the automotive or related industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with Validation Planning and Troubleshooting and Resolution.
• Ability to perform CAD designs for validation tools.
• Experience in an office environment, including a minimum of one summer internship.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with strength, fatigue, and cyclic durability testing.
• Experience using Jira software.
