Description

Design and develop electrical wiring harness systems from concept through production release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements and design constraints to define scope.
• Create C3 and higher-level harness models and drawings using Creo Cabling.
• Define routing layouts by analyzing assembly, safety, and manufacturing process requirements.
• Select appropriate wires, terminals, and components based on design specifications.
• Document technical issues and solutions using FMEMA, simulation plans, stack plans, A3, and 8D formats.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wiring harness design and development.
• Proficiency in Creo Cabling for 3D harness modeling, flattening, and drawing creation.
• Experience using Creo Schematics for electrical design.
• Expertise in CN release processes using Windchill.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to follow Tier II governance and roadmap protocols.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Proficiency in CAD environments.
