Description

You will manage daily workflows and technical maintenance for High Content Imaging (HCI) devices and associated AWS infrastructure. You will debug system issues, script in Python or R, and analyze workflows to identify gaps and tool enhancement requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HCI devices, large microscopes, and AWS technologies.
• Debug and script using Python or R to resolve system issues.
• Analyze HCI workflows to identify gaps, efficiencies, and tool enhancement requirements.
• Connect APIs into HCI systems and perform workflow analysis across dispersed teams.
• Track and escalate technical issues using Jira.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical role.
• Broad experience supporting and troubleshooting AWS environments.
• Hands-on coding experience with Python, C++, C#, Snowflake, or SQL.
• Technical understanding of server maintenance and system architecture.
• Experience using Jira or similar ticket tracking systems.
• Understanding of scientific processes and workflows.
• Familiarity with Columbus and Image Artist (Perkin Elmer) architecture.
• Ability to gather requirements and manage stakeholder relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Use plate registration tools to reconcile compounds between source and asset plates.
