Description

You will lead the design, development, and refinement of advanced ML/NLP models for parsing and interpreting complex financial and tax documents.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire ML lifecycle, including data ingestion, labeling strategies, feature engineering, training, and deployment.
• Develop proof-of-concept projects for emerging technologies including LLMs, embeddings, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build and mentor a high-impact ML team while conducting architectural reviews.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Leadership to translate business goals into scalable ML solutions.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years of industry experience with 3–5 years leading ML, AI, or Data Science teams.
• Deep expertise in NLP/NLU and Document Intelligence for transforming unstructured PDFs into structured outputs.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, Huggingface, and scikit-learn.
• Experience deploying ML systems using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud-native workflows on Azure.
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
