Description

You will lead the technical service and maintenance department, overseeing the development and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and develop unmanned aerial vehicles.
  • Plan and execute flight test protocols for new software, electronics, sensors, and payloads.
  • Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of hardware components for R&D test vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot and debug drone components in both office and field environments.
  • Manage the maintenance of the vehicle fleet to ensure readiness for field demonstrations.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in flight testing and operating small UAS or RC aircraft (fixed-wing and multirotor).
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for engineering scripting.
  • Experience with UAV platforms including Pixhawk, Ardupilot, and PX4.
  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical knowledge of electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Understanding of UAS sensors and RF communications fundamentals.
  • Experience using flight-planning and ground control station software.
  • Ability to manage a team of service engineers.

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience in the drone industry.
