You will lead the technical service and maintenance department, overseeing the development and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers to design and develop unmanned aerial vehicles.
- Plan and execute flight test protocols for new software, electronics, sensors, and payloads.
- Perform hands-on mechanical and electrical integration of hardware components for R&D test vehicles.
- Troubleshoot and debug drone components in both office and field environments.
- Manage the maintenance of the vehicle fleet to ensure readiness for field demonstrations.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in flight testing and operating small UAS or RC aircraft (fixed-wing and multirotor).
- Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for engineering scripting.
- Experience with UAV platforms including Pixhawk, Ardupilot, and PX4.
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.
- Practical knowledge of electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Understanding of UAS sensors and RF communications fundamentals.
- Experience using flight-planning and ground control station software.
- Ability to manage a team of service engineers.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in the drone industry.
