Description

You will support the development, testing, and implementation of projects for the MassHealth Medicaid program, focusing on Claims, Provider, and Reference functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead joint application design sessions with stakeholders and document requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop test strategies, scenarios, and cases, then execute and review test runs to sign off on components.
• Work with vendors to define and test business requirements, ensuring compliance with Federal and state laws.
• Perform data query and analysis to support system enhancements and stabilization phases.
• Create end-user training materials and documentation while communicating updates to impacted stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare administration setting or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the healthcare business scope and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) compatibility.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.
• Experience with HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing.
• Working knowledge of health plan management and operational concepts.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, requirements gathering, and design activities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or Healthcare Administration.
• Competency in HIPAA, MMIS, and state-level healthcare systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodology and the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Direct experience with the MassHealth program or Medicaid systems.
