Description

You own the design and delivery of analytics pipelines for value-based care, transforming claims and clinical data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design robust data models and write complex SQL (joins, window functions, performance tuning) to support analytics and BI development.
• Build and deliver dashboards using Amazon QuickSight, translating complex healthcare data into clear, stakeholder-ready visualizations.
• Act as a Value-Based Care Subject Matter Expert, supporting internal and client-facing discussions on medical economics, risk adjustment, and quality measures.
• Develop custom tables, views, and stored procedures within the AWS Redshift environment.
• Engage directly with healthcare customers to translate business goals into technical analytics deliverables.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience working with healthcare data, specifically claims and/or clinical datasets.
• 2+ years of experience supporting value-based care use cases.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including performance tuning and complex query construction.
• Strong data modeling skills to support downstream analytics and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with the AWS data stack: Redshift, Athena, and S3.
• Experience building and delivering dashboards using Amazon QuickSight.
• Deep understanding of medical economics, risk adjustment, and population health analytics.
• Ability to present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, or Looker, and familiarity with modern data pipeline tools.
• Ability to write and troubleshoot Python for data analysis or automation tasks.
• Familiarity with GitHub, CI/CD tools (Jenkins), and agile collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
