Description

You will apply statistical modeling and machine learning to large healthcare datasets to drive product development.

Responsibilities

• Manipulate large datasets to extract actionable insights using statistical computer languages.
• Build and implement advanced machine learning models including clustering, decision trees, and neural networks.
• Design and maintain data architectures to support analytical workflows.
• Visualize and present complex data findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Collaborate with remote teams to solve analytical problems within a product development context.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience manipulating datasets and building statistical models.
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.
• Strong foundation in probability, statistics, regression, and properties of distributions.
• Experience with distributed computing tools including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques such as Random Forest, Boosting, and clustering.
• Ability to work with web services like Redshift, S3, and Spark.
• Competency in data visualization using tools like Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib, or ggplot.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• Experience with C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of specialized tools like Gurobi, Amazon QuickSight, or D3.
