Description

Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based applications and APIs supporting healthcare interoperability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage FHIR R4/R5 resources for clinical and administrative data exchange.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for integration with EHRs and external healthcare systems.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, security, and data privacy requirements.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET 6+.
• Hands-on experience with FHIR implementations (R4 preferred).
• Solid understanding of FHIR resources (Patient, Encounter, Observation, Practitioner, Condition).
• Experience with ASP.NET Web API and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in SQL Server and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with JSON, XML, and healthcare data transformations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of US Healthcare workflows (Provider, Payer, Claims, Clinical data).
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SMART on FHIR.
• Familiarity with Azure / AWS cloud services.
• Knowledge of EHR/Epic/Cerner integrations.
