Description

Maintain and repair heavy rock crushing and screening aggregate equipment in Fitchburg, MA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble, and assemble rock crushers, screens, and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and conduct regular equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot and service hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Maintain shop facility cleanliness and prepare accurate maintenance records.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics.
• Direct experience with crushing and screening industry machinery.
• Proficiency in hydraulic and electrical system diagnostics.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 70+ pounds.
• Physical capability to climb heavy equipment, bend, kneel, and work with arms raised for prolonged periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and safety standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience troubleshooting, testing, and servicing Metso equipment.
