Description

You will provide technical support to ensure end users can effectively complete business tasks through proper computer operation.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming help requests via telephone and email, documenting user identification and problem details.
• Prioritize, schedule, and escalate technical issues to experienced technicians when required.
• Record and track the entire problem-solving process, including all actions taken through to final resolution.
• Perform desktop-level fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and peripherals.
• Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions (FAQ) lists for end users.

Required Skills

• Proven experience working in a Help Desk environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience upgrading software and installing hardware.
• Experience implementing file backups and configuring systems and applications.
• Ability to use diagnostic utilities for troubleshooting.
• High School diploma with 5 years of help desk experience, or an Associate Degree with 3 years of help desk experience.
