Description

You will provide second-tier technical support for hardware and software issues in a law enforcement environment. You will manage the full lifecycle of device deployment and maintenance, including imaging, ghosting, and installation of mobile solutions such as printers, scanners, GPS units, and in-vehicle software.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end users in a second-tier help desk setting.
  • Develop and execute test plans to perform system-level testing for traffic and criminal justice software.
  • Conduct technical training and end-user instruction in classroom environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in a second-tier help desk or IT support role.
  • Experience supporting traffic and criminal software in law enforcement or public safety contexts.
  • Proficiency in hardware imaging and ghosting techniques.
  • Hands-on experience installing and supporting mobile hardware and software solutions.
  • Ability to develop test plans and perform system-level testing.
  • Strong skills in technical writing and creating user-facing documentation.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
