Description

You will design, configure, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems to support vehicle platform requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain VeriStand and LabCar Operator projects.
• Map controller I/O to Data Acquisition I/O using NI PXI, SLSC, and ETAS hardware.
• Develop simulations for restbus controllers and connect plant model I/O to DAQ/Controller I/O aliases.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, wiring modifications to HIL load boxes, and DUT harnessing.
• Provide onsite support for the installation, verification, and validation of new or modified HIL units.

Required Skills

• 1+ year of industry experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues on embedded electrical systems or test infrastructure.
• Experience setting up test stands with VeriStand and Simulink.
• Ability to interpret, create, and maintain electrical schematics.
• Hands-on experience with Data Acquisition equipment, load boxes, power supplies, and communication networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Ag & Biosystems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (mechatronics focus), Mechatronics Engineering, or commensurate experience.
