Description

You will design and develop HIL/SIL models and scripts to validate complex automotive systems, ensuring robust testing for sensors, actuators, and ECUs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HIL/SIL models and automation scripts for system testing.
• Utilize systems modeling platforms for test requirements development, execution, and reporting.
• Diagnose complex issues using structured problem-solving tools like 8D and five whys.
• Validate open and closed loop control systems for sensors, actuators, body controllers, and ECUs.
• Test low voltage components including circuit breakers, relays, and wiring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing HIL/SIL models and scripts.
• 3+ years of experience in systems modeling platforms for test automation and reporting.
• 2+ years of experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems.
• Proficiency with dSpace or similar HIL simulation toolsets.
• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, and Stateflow.
• Knowledge of CAN-Bus, LIN, and Ethernet communication protocols.
• Hands-on experience with CAN tools such as CANalyzer, P-CAN, Kvaser, CANoe, or CANApe.
• Familiarity with high voltage components including DC/DC, motor/inverter, battery, and on-board chargers.
• Understanding of industry standards such as FMVSS, NHTSA, and SAE.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Computer Software, or Mechanical Engineering.
