Description

You will design and implement healthcare interoperability solutions using HL7 and FHIR standards.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement healthcare data solutions based on specific Implementation Guides.
• Translate custom message payloads between JSON, XML, and HL7 formats to legacy or proprietary systems.
• Integrate Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology and IHE frameworks.
• Develop custom filters and mappers using the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with HL7 version 2.x messaging and HL7 FHIR.
• Deep knowledge of CDA standards and related document types.
• Proficiency with healthcare vocabularies including LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and XML.
• Strong JavaScript programming skills.
• Experience with web services including SOAP, REST, OAuth, TCP-connections, and LLP.
• Practical knowledge of transport encryption and security using TLS and mutual authorization via certificates.
• Experience with Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x).
• Expertise in using the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).
