Description

Act as the subject matter expert for HL7 FHIR implementation and clinical data integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Map clinical data from source systems to FHIR data models through detailed mapping exercises.
• Analyze and profile clinical data to improve conformance and quality.
• Design and monitor performance and quality reports for FHIR products.
• Solicit and clarify business-level requirements to define data needs.
• Implement and manage data standards including SNOMED CT, RxNorm, LOINC, UCUM, ICD, CPT, and CVX.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on HL7 FHIR experience.
• Deep understanding of EHR standards and healthcare data formats.
• Strong SQL experience for data analysis and profiling.
• Experience building and operationalizing data processing systems.
• 2+ years working with data platforms such as Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, or ODS.
• Proficiency in Python and Data Mapping.
• Working knowledge of clinical data and industry-standard formats.
• Experience with Azure SQL.

Preferred Skills

• GCP experience including Cloud Dataflow, Dataproc, or Functions.
• Experience with Whistle Map SDK.
