Key Responsibilities

Analyze and implement healthcare system integrations.

Design and develop HL7 v2.x interfaces.

Integrate EMR/EHR, LIS, RIS, PACS, billing, and third-party systems.

Perform message mapping, transformation, routing, and validation.

Troubleshoot interface/data exchange issues.

Handle testing, go-live, and post-production support.

Maintain interface specifications and technical documentation.

Collaborate with developers, clinicians, vendors, and project teams.

Ensure healthcare privacy, security, and compliance.

Mandatory Skills

Strong HL7 v2.x experience.

Knowledge of ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM, VXU.

Experience with an Interface Engine: Mirth/NextGen, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Ensemble/IRIS, Corepoint, or IBM.

Strong SQL/database querying skills.

Knowledge of XML, JSON, XSLT, REST/SOAP.

Scripting: JavaScript, Java, Python, or similar.

Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, SFTP, APIs, and healthcare interoperability.

Good to Have

FHIR, CDA/CCD, X12, DICOM.

Azure/AWS/GCP integration experience.

DevOps/CI-CD exposure.

HIPAA/HITECH knowledge.

Healthcare data migration experience
