Description

You will design, develop, and mentor teams for healthcare integration solutions using HL7 messaging and system architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design system architectures, ROMs, and solutions for new use cases.
• Write code for applications, interfaces, modules, components, and reports.
• Review and approve system designs and code deliverables.
• Produce technical documentation including SEM deliverables, IRP, DRP, and transition plans.
• Coach and mentor developers while performing knowledge transfers to state staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT.
• Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming.
• Strong expertise in SQL and XML.
• Deep knowledge of HL7 version 2.x messaging and HL7 FHIR.
• Experience with CDA standards and related document types.
• Practical application of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) and HIE technology.
• Ability to implement solutions based on Implementation Guides.
• Experience with ESB and SNOMED.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with healthcare vocabularies such as LONIC and RxNorm.
• Experience with Rhapsody licensing and software vendor support.
