Description

You will design and execute automated testing strategies for complex data migrations and system integrations in Hartford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Review system requirements and test scenarios to create appropriate testing workflows.
• Develop and maintain automated functional, regression, and load tests, specifically around ETL and data conversion.
• Design ETL testing scripts for data ingestion, cleansing, and business rule execution.
• Validate data flows and database architecture, including relational structures, data marts, and logical/physical data models.
• Collaborate with development, product owners, and operations teams to implement testing best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with HP QC (Micro Focus Quality Center), UFT, Stress Stimulus, and Azure DevOps.
• 7+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and software testing methodologies.
• 7+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Expertise in querying and testing databases including SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.
• Proficiency in creating complex SQL joins to validate data migration requirements.
• Experience with Web Services testing (REST, SOAP, WCF) using tools like SOAPUI and SOAPSonar.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, Database Design, and ETL processes.
• Proven experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration methodologies.
• Ability to perform web application, distributed system, performance, regression, and security testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with mobile and accessibility testing.
