Description

Manage and maintain high-performance computing clusters and Linux-based infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux operating systems (Redhat, CentOS, Rocky) on HPC clusters.
• Manage job schedulers including Slurm, LSF, and PBS to optimize resource allocation.
• Provision nodes using Werewolf and configure GPU software stacks (CUDA, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and monitor performance to ensure optimal cluster operation.
• Install Nvidia drivers and manage parallel file systems and storage solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in HPC system administration.
• Proficiency in Redhat, CentOS, and Rocky Linux.
• Hands-on experience setting up and managing HPC compute clusters.
• Expertise with job schedulers such as Slurm, LSF, or PBS.
• Experience with node provisioning tools like Werewolf.
• Proficiency in bash scripting.
• Ability to manage GPU software stacks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, CUDA, and Python.

Preferred Skills

• TS/SCI clearance.
• Security+ or Linux+ certification.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps workflows.
