Description

You will own the lifecycle management and optimization of High Performance Computing environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain HPC systems, including compute, storage, and management nodes.
• Manage HPC lab environments to ensure availability for development, testing, and validation.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for system installation, configuration, and monitoring using Python or Ansible.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and system-level issues, collaborating with vendors.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and implement security, backup, and recovery practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in relevant technical fields.
• Strong administration experience with Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, SUSE, or similar).
• Proficiency in scripting using Python or Bash.
• Knowledge of HPC architectures, cluster management, and resource scheduling tools (Slurm, PBS, LSF).
• Experience with system provisioning and configuration automation using Ansible.
• Familiarity with storage management systems (NFS, Lustre, GPFS).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Experience with system monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
