Description

You manage daily operations for HPC clusters, research storage, and core infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize HPC nodes.
• Configure and install new nodes, storage, and infrastructure components.
• Provide day-to-day systems administration and user support for HPC clusters and research storage.
• Install and support new and repurposed HPC hardware.
• Develop and maintain HPC software and tools with engineering support.

Required Skills

• Three or more years of Linux systems administration experience.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix scripting (Shell, Perl, Python).
• Hands-on experience installing and supporting systems hardware and storage arrays.
• Experience compiling, configuring, and managing Linux-based software.
• Experience with HPC cluster management systems administration.
• Experience supporting research computing environments.
• Ability to assist faculty and students with HPC utilization.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• Experience with GPUs, MPI, Infiniband/Mellanox optics, or cloud HPC.
• Programming experience using Conda, MATLAB, C, Java, or TensorFlow/PyTorch.
