Description

Develop and maintain enterprise-scale applications on HPE NonStop systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and system requirements to identify development or enhancement needs.
• Design, develop, and modify applications using COBOL85, SCOBOL, ENSCRIBE, ENFORM, PATHWAY, and TMF.
• Perform compilation, testing, and validation of programs to ensure accuracy and performance.
• Coordinate deployment activities and ensure smooth transition of applications into production.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues within defined timelines.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in HPE NonStop (Tandem) application development and maintenance.
• Proficiency in COBOL85, SCOBOL, ENSCRIBE, ENFORM, PATHWAY, and TMF.
• Working knowledge of HPE NonStop utilities (FUP, TEDIT, PERUSE).
• Strong understanding of program debugging, modification, and deployment processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (B.E. / B.Tech preferred).
• Familiarity with TACL, TAL, SQL, and MQ is required or an advantage.
