Description

You will own digital accessibility compliance across websites, mobile applications, and documents.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accessibility compliance audits and testing using WCAG 2.0 guidelines and Section 508 standards.
• Perform accessibility analysis on wireframes and mock-ups to identify potential violations before development.
• Prepare detailed reports documenting violations with suggested code-based solutions.
• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to resolve WCAG compliance defects.
• Provide guidance on accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0 Level AA, WAI-ARIA, and Section 508.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of technical experience in UI/Front-end development.
• Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and ARIA.
• In-depth knowledge of accessibility standards including WCAG 2.0/2.1, WAI-ARIA, UAAG, and ATAG.
• Experience with evaluation tools such as Chrome accessibility developer tools, Ally, Axe, Inspect, and WAI toolbar.
• Hands-on experience with assistive technologies including JAWS, NVDA, Chrome Vox, Voiceover, and Talkback.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science with coursework in web development, software engineering, or graphic design.

Preferred Skills

• Working experience with multi-discipline interactions including iPad, iPhone, Android, and tablets.
• Any ADA-related certification.
