Description

You will create and refine instructional materials and Instructions for Use (IFUs) for combination products and drug delivery devices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and update IFU content, graphics, layouts, and illustrations for new and existing medical devices.
• Develop low-fidelity sketches and high-fidelity digital prototypes for design reviews.
• Build physical models of IFUs, cartons, and leaflets using hand prototyping, printing, folding, and binding.
• Collaborate with Device Engineering, Marketing, Clinical, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs to define instruction requirements.
• Organize materials for usability studies and transition multiple design concepts into single, refined solutions.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of instruction design experience, specifically including IFUs.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Expertise in rapid sketch illustration and digital line-art illustration.
• Strong image editing skills.
• Background in medical, healthcare, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.
• Ability to manage multiple detail-oriented projects simultaneously.
• Strong oral and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
