Description

Lead the design and development of embedded systems and own the full hardware lifecycle from schematic capture to agency certification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain detailed schematics, component libraries, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Provide PCB layout guidelines for multilayer high-speed boards and manage Gerber files.
• Execute component analysis, tolerance analysis, and circuit simulations to ensure reliability.
• Coordinate with test labs to achieve FCC, CE, UL, and FM agency certifications.
• Perform component selection based on cost optimization, EOL, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 7 to 11 years of hardware design experience.
• Mixed-signal embedded system design using microcontrollers such as ATSAM54XX or TI AM43xx/335/62X.
• Experience with System-on-Modules (SOMs) like Qualcomm XR2.
• High-speed interface expertise including DDR3, DDR4, USB, and Ethernet.
• Proficiency in schematic capture tools like Orcad or PADS.
• Hands-on design and debugging of I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, CAN, BLE, and external memory interfaces.
• Strong circuit analysis and simulation skills using PSpice or Spice.
• Knowledge of Signal Integrity concepts for DDR3/DDR4.
• Experience designing to EMC-EMI guidelines (IEC61XXXX).

Preferred Skills

• Experience interfacing with LCD touch screens, cameras, and wireless technologies (Wi-Fi/BLE/Cellular).
