Description

You will design, code, test, and debug Java-based applications for Local Government Services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable code.
• Research system problems, analyze solutions, and develop program documentation.
• Perform requirements gathering, application testing, and prepare build implementation specifications.
• Communicate technical information to business users regarding support inquiries.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of software development experience using Java, JavaScript, J2SE, and J2EE.
• Experience with Struts and Spring frameworks.
• Web development experience using Tomcat servlet containers, XML, XSL Stylesheet, and Web Services.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases and SSL Certificates.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse, BIRT Reports, TOAD, and SQL Developer.
• Working knowledge of Azure DevOps and Git.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information System Management.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
