Description

Oversee the engineering and maintenance of Dell vxRail hyperconverged infrastructure and software-defined storage solutions in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Dell vxRail, NSX, and VMware networking features.
• Troubleshoot complex storage, network, and compute issues across data center environments.
• Manage capacity, performance, and incident response for VMware systems.
• Develop and document system operation workflows, support models, and backup strategies.
• Implement solutions following ITIL, Agile, and security regulations including CJIS/NIST.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and administering hyperconverged environments.
• Deep expertise in Dell EMC vxRail and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi, vSAN, and NSX.
• Proficiency with Dell EMC Integrated Data Protection (IDPA), Data Domain, and Avamar.
• Experience managing SAN and NAS protocols within hyperconverged environments.
• Proven ability in disaster recovery and data protection solution implementation.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Experience with ITIL, Agile, and change/problem/incident management processes.

Preferred Skills

• VMware VCP certification.
• Juniper Network technologies experience.
• Automation and database performance optimization experience.
