Description

Design, implement, and manage hyperconverged infrastructure and software-defined storage solutions within enterprise data centers.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Dell VxRail and related hyperconverged technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex storage, network, and compute issues across the environment.
• Engineer new software-defined storage solutions and manage capacity and performance for VMware systems.
• Develop and document system operation workflows, support models, and comprehensive backup models.
• Implement and manage components for NSX and VMware software-based networking features.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and administering hyperconverged environments.
• Expertise in VMware technologies including vSphere/ESXi, vSAN, and NSX.
• Hands-on experience with Dell EMC VxRail and integrated data protection solutions like IDPA, Data Domain, or Avamar.
• Deep understanding of networking and security within hyperconverged environments, including SAN and NAS protocols.
• Experience managing storage networks and appliances.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture including AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with ITIL, Agile, and CJIS/NIST security regulations.
• Ability to lead teams and transfer technical knowledge to platform engineering staff.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Juniper network technologies.
• Experience with automation and database performance optimization.
