Description

You will manage and automate cloud infrastructure and virtualization environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts and workflows for VM provisioning, resource scaling, and configuration management.
• Enable autoscaling capabilities, including power on/off automation based on utilization.
• Maintain monitoring and logging solutions for performance metrics and resource utilization.
• Provide dashboards and reporting solutions to visualize historical data and trends.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vRealize Automation, and vRealize Operations.
• Expertise in vSphere, vSAN, Cloud Foundation, NSX, vRealize Automation, and vRealize Operations.
• Proficiency with automation tools including PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with automation scripting using PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Site Recovery Manager and vSphere Replication.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, and security best practices in virtualized environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for VM provisioning and patching.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder required for ITAR compliance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native technologies.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
• VMware VCP or higher certification.
