Description

You will own the design and implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Researcher Authentication Services (RAS).

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage the Identity Broker platform for secure Single Sign-On (SSO) access.
• Integrate native authentication mechanisms, including PIV/CAC and Kerberos.
• Implement and manage federated identity providers using SAML and OAuth/OIDC protocols.
• Operate and maintain systems supporting NIH and external research partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IAM architecture.
• Expertise with OAuth and OIDC protocols.
• Deep knowledge of SAML implementation.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
• Proficiency in designing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Experience working in highly secure and federated environments.
• Familiarity with identity broker platforms.
