Description

You will lead the architectural design and execution of complex identity migrations from Okta to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure identity solutions that integrate Okta and Azure AD environments.
• Design comprehensive migration strategies, including phased approaches, risk mitigation, and rollback plans.
• Define the strategic roadmap and vision for the target identity state.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to engineering teams during migration projects.
• Translate complex technical identity concepts into business terms for C-suite executives and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in identity and access management.
• Expertise in Okta suite: Workforce Identity Cloud, Auth0, Universal Directory, MFA, SSO, Workflows, and Access Gateway.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Connect, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and B2B/B2C.
• Deep knowledge of federation protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and WS-Federation.
• Strong understanding of on-premises Active Directory, LDAP, and directory synchronization.
• Proficiency in API management platforms such as MuleSoft or Apigee.
• Solid grasp of security compliance frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, and load balancing.

Preferred Skills

• Automation proficiency in PowerShell or Python.
• Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and PKI.
