Description

The IAM Automation Engineer designs and implements secure, scalable identity lifecycle automation using Azure-native services, PowerShell, and .NET.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade IAM automation solutions using PowerShell, .NET, and Bicep for user provisioning, deprovisioning, and certificate lifecycle management.
• Build event-driven, scalable integrations leveraging Azure API Management, Service Bus, Container Apps, and Function Apps to handle high-volume identity transactions.
• Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and security controls to ensure compliance with identity governance and audit requirements.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub for automated build, test, and deployment within a DevOps-driven environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and security teams to align automation initiatives with strategic roadmaps and operational excellence goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IAM automation and enterprise-scale solution design.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in PowerShell and .NET development.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory management.
• Experience with Bicep for infrastructure as code and Azure-native service integration.
• Proven ability to manage end-to-end automation lifecycles, including scheduling, orchestration, and multi-environment deployment.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Experience implementing security controls, access governance, and compliance standards in identity solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Sonnet to enhance code quality and efficiency.
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing and fault-tolerant system design.
