Description

You will design, implement, and maintain security controls for on-premises and cloud-based information systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain security controls, documenting operations and expected outcomes.
• Administer authentication and access controls, reviewing exception reports to uphold system integrity.
• Monitor systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, managing investigation and recovery efforts.
• Develop and implement security governance, including policies, standards, and training programs.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to execute risk mitigation plans and maintain strategic security roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technology experience, with 3+ years focused on information security or identity access management.
• Strong experience with Active Directory, Linux, and Windows client/server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure identity lifecycle and MFA tools.
• Proficiency with firewalls, AV systems, IDS, IPS, and web content filters.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows system security services and functions.
• Knowledge of public cloud workloads and SaaS systems.
• Understanding of secure development, cryptography, network security, and incident response.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PKI, certificate management, and encryption technologies.
• Knowledge of forensic investigations and two-factor authentication methods.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, Cisco, or Microsoft.
