Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines within the banking and finance domain. You own the development and maintenance of ELT/ETL programs using SSIS, Spark, and SQL stored procedures. You implement scalable solutions to handle increasing data volumes using big data and cloud technologies. You write complex SQL queries and perform deep data analysis. You manage data within relational database management systems and leverage BI tools such as Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain programs using SSIS, Spark, and SQL stored procedures for ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Implement scalable solutions to handle increasing data volumes using big data and cloud technologies.
• Write complex SQL queries and perform deep data analysis.
• Manage data within relational database management systems.
• Leverage BI tools such as Tableau for data visualization and reporting.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark and big data technologies including Hadoop and Kafka.
• Strong expertise in SQL and SQL Server.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Programming proficiency in Java or Scala.
• Prior experience working in the Banking or Finance domain.
• Bachelor's degree.
